Registration

MEOS 2021 is open to oil and gas professionals and business visitors.

All attendees are requested to register. Registrations can be made online in advance closer to the event or onsite during exhibition opening hours.

Children under the age of 16 will not be admitted under any circumstances.

Online advance registration will be available closer to the event.

Registrations can be made onsite during registration desk opening hours at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre and the Ritz Carlton hotel.

The conference registration fee includes:

  • Admission to all conference sessions
  • Conference proceedings
  • Invitation to the conference gala dinner
  • Invitations to 3 lunches
  • Refreshments at tea & coffee breaks
  • Admission to the exhibition
  • Conference delegate bag

Entry to the exhibition only is free of charge on all days.

The following credit and debit cards can be used as payment: Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Cash payments will also be accepted for registrations made onsite.

Registration for students is complimentary, and includes admission to conference sessions, the exhibition and coffee breaks. Admission to the Industry Keynote Session, lunches, dinner, delegate bag and conference proceedings are excluded.

Students are required to provide a copy of their current student ID upon collection of badges at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Registration for the show is non-date specific. Once you have registered you are able to attend the show on any of the show open days.

All conference registration cancellations or changes must be received in writing at Informa Market’s office by 5 February 2021. Faculty will be charged a fee of BD 10 (US$ 25) for cancellations. All other conference registrations cancellations will be charged a fee of BD 57 (US$ 150) per delegate. Refunds, less cancellation charges, will be made until 5 February 2021 after which date no refunds will be made. No refunds will be made if a delegate fails to attend.

MEOS 2021 takes place from 15 – 18 March in Bahrain.

The MEOS 2021 Conference Opening and Ministerial Panel Session takes place on 15 March at the Ritz Carlton Hotel Bahrain & Spa. The subsequent 3 days of the conference take place at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre from 16– 18 March.

The exhibition takes place from 16 – 18 March at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The MEOS 2021 exhibition takes place from 15 – 18 March at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The MEOS 2021 Conference Opening and Ministerial Panel Session takes place on 16 March at the Ritz Carlton Hotel Bahrain & Spa. The subsequent 3 days of the conference take place in parallel with the exhibition at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre from 16 – 18 March.

Preferred hotel status has been awarded to 7 Bahrain hotels who offer participants competitive room rates: Fraser Suites Seef, Ibis Seef Hotel Bahrain, InterContinental Regency Bahrain, Le Meridien Bahrain City Centre, Ramada Manama City Centre, S-Hotel, and The Westin Bahrain City Centre.

Visas are not required by GCC passport holders. Visas are required by all other nationalities visiting Bahrain. For up to date information on eligibility for visas on arrival, or to apply for a visa via the organisers please see our visa section.

Lunches will be served on Tuesday 16 March, Wednesday 17 March and Thursday 18 March at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. Lunch tickets for all 3 days are included in the conference registration fee for all delegate types except students.

Additional lunch tickets cost US$ 60 and can be purchased at the registration desks onsite or during online registration.

Light refreshments are also available to purchase from the coffee lounge in hall 1.

Complimentary hot beverages are available for all conference delegates and exhibitors at the coffee lounge in hall 1.

Badges and conference materials may be collected at the registration desks during registration desk opening hours. For security reasons, badges and conference materials must be collected in person.

Conference proceedings are included in the conference registration fee for all delegate types except students.

Vouchers with instructions to access conference proceedings online will be distributed on arrival at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Proceedings include the full text for each paper presented at the conference together with technical diagrams and illustrations.

Additional copies cost US$ 200 for SPE members and US$ 300 for non- members and can be purchased from the SPE stand.

Media

Members of the media are welcome to attend MEOS 2021. Admission is free of charge. Media are eligible to attend:

  • The exhibition
  • Conference opening ceremony
  • Ministerial panel session

Media are not permitted to attend conference technical sessions.

Members of the media are required to register for a media visa in advance of their visit to Bahrain. Applications should be made directly to the Bahrain Ministry of Information Affairs. For further information on requirements and to apply online visit: www.mia.gov.bh
